Sorry CT guys, imho, GReddy ftw. I've had Comptech and I just don't like how the actual mufflers (or some may refer to it as canisters) are so undersize and lean looking. They looked just like magnaflow or flowmaster passenger car universal mufflers just polished. I like some meat on my cans, especially with my 10" wide rear wheels. ATLP looks and sounds very nice as well.
I think it just comes down to, do you like quads or not. If the noise is too much, which by the way, the tone has gotten a LOT MORE milder since I've got it installed. The GReddy note is and always will be pure sex... And I think for the TL, the big tips work in favor to fill the huge square-ish cutouts.
GReddy=ATLP>Comptech.

I live in the city we don't have driveways LOL I was coming from a white sox game and there was mad traffic. I just want a more cleaner look stillhere. Plus the pipes are not maderal bent and looks Shitty underneath cause its all welded together. The time will come.

I've read through the entire thread and here are some of my comments.
*Greddy exhaust is full stainless steel, including flanges & hangers, and includes a 3 year warranty for the original purchaser.
*I've noticed a lot of the other systems have slip joints, this is a much cheaper method for joining parts, and they tend to leak as well. having that said...
*Greddy uses stamped flanges for durability and lightness (as opposed to solid, heavy flanges--where possible). These are more expensive to use than slip joints, but better quality.
*As most have stated, the greddy is on the louder side, this being from the vote for more power vs. loudness (group buy vote).
*There currently is no silencer for the Evo2, but a custom silencer can be made to fit. All a silencer is, is an adapter to make the outlet of the exhaust smaller, hindering flow and thus suppressing sound.

We had a small meet a few weeks back (maybe 7 3rd Gen's), and everyone thought that those people that sold their Greddy because it was too loud were foolish......its quieted down alot! But I still want to silence the drone alittle just because of my new job and clients that will be in the car
So in conclusion I think that the Atlp system is badass, but I still perfer the tips/cans on the greddy........for looks alone I'm not a quad fan.

^ yea i do agree... hell of a price... $650 was the group buy, i think its like $700 or $750 now??
^^ and yea, most people dont realize that any and every exhaust system will quiet down once its broken in. I felt my ATLP Was a little too loud at the beginning, but its quieter now. However, i also just want to minimize that slight interior drone. Im thinking about buying the mid-pipe w/ resonator the mike will be producing shortly

"some" you mean me
I've yet to find a bolt on (excludes the comptech s/c) intended for the base that doesn't fit the type s
