The only thing I am taking issues with is your slanderous remarks towards our company-
1. We do not sell direct
2. All of our systems used polished piping
3. We do not build catback systems for TLs, which means there is nothing to be threatened about-
4. fart can mufflers is a negative and slanderous remark.
Please see link-
http://www.ghlmotorsports.com/Mercha...egory_Code=SUB
Please explain how this muffler is any different looking from the ones we build-
If people feel the GHL system is better then a system that we dont even build, that is fine with me-
By giving the impression that we build a system, that we don't - and then making false implications regarding such system we do not build, you are making slanderous remarks-
Please cease to do so-
Feel free to contact the moderators about my posts- I am not trying to sell or promote Magnaflow in any way, as we do not even build a competitive product-
I am only here to ask that you cease making unfounded fasle slanderous remarks-

I have contacted a moderator, and have asked them to remove all negative remarks regarding Magnaflow, and all of my responses,
so that the members of this board may talk about what they are here to discuss- a new catback for the TL-
Thanks-

GHL makes a fartcan too.
Again, you've missed the point of my all my posts.
I'm sure the moderator will see this, and quickly send you on your way.

Let's get this exhaust system made!

I cleaned up the thread and eliminated the great GHL/Magnaflow competition, and all the posts pertaining to it. Try to keep this thread non-competitive and on the subject of getting GHL to produce an exhaust for our cars.
There is no point in comparing GHL to any other product at this time and this should wait until people have actual experience with their exhaust systems and can offer valid comparisons.

Yesterday, I went to the dealership with a friend to test drive a mazdaspeed 6, the indicated outdoor temp was 111!!!! And the A/C would cut off occasionally during the test drive

News on our exhaust?

with the type s coming out, i feel that there is no point to making a dual round tip exhaust.
we should stick to a square exhaust tip, but make the tip deep so that the tip doesnt look out of place like i feel the stock tips do. by making the tip deep, i mean not being able to see the little round hole inside of our exhaust tip. In order to do that we would need to make the tip an inch or two longer from that hole. The tip will also look perfect on the stock bumper as well as aftermarket kits like the RJ.

We?
Since when have YOU contriuted to making this exhaust? If you don't like it, don't buy it.
Take your opinion elsewhere, it has no value here. It's gonna get made, i'ts gonna be quad tipped, and it's going to be for sale. Don't like it? Keep yours stock or go build your own.

This thread was started by Twigglius soliciting input on what folks would be interested in in a competitve aftermarket exhaust from GHL. I am facilitiating as I've worked with the manufacturer in the past.
That is no less than the 4th time KaOtik has posted to this thread stating how much he prefers stock square tips and that he won't have anything do with this product becasue of it.
Fine.
Don't like the direction this product is going, express that and be done. Otherwise, post some non-repetitive constructive criticism, and post what you'd like to see.
It's also intersting to me the naysayers of quads... and low and behold... the TL-S now sports em.

damn Kennedy, you're really confrontational. who cares if he doesn't like it, what are you arguing w/ him for? Isn't this like the 2nd or 3rd arguement you've gotten into in this thread?
Like you said above, the exhaust will be made w/ the quad exhaust. Let him flame all he wants. His words in the thread aren't going to stop the production, so why call him out on it. If he wants square tips, let him go to another manufacturing company or exhaust specialist to make one for him.
I, personally do not like the Type S exhaust b/c it sticks out too much. If the GHL exhaust lines up w/ the bumper, that'd be hot. Plus i'm also looking for a nicer exhaust note. Our exhaust sounds too tame.
Does anyone know how much more the A-Spec rear bumper adds to the stock bumper?

Dude...
Maybe. You guys gotta buck up and get some thick skin. I'm not privy to the kinder gentler Acurazine.
An employee of Magnaflow jumped my sh!t twice because he claimed I was bombing magnaflow products. I used maganflow as price point example of costs, and he went way over the top in infering what I said. I clearly articulated my point, but he persisted. The mods deleted most of the argue threads, and the issue is dead as far as I'm concerned.
I particularly don't care if he doesn't like it, but we are in "creation phase" here. I'm looking for constructive criticism and input... Not a "keep it stock" chant. We can't afford crazy beveled welds for square tips... It's not gonna happen, but to continually poo poo the effort because we can't afford your desire to make it happen isn't helping.
I did exactly what you told me to do and asked him to go have his square tips custom made from another vendor. I took issue with his rather ad hock taking ownership of this project, where it's twigglius and I doing the work.
Agree with you on the TL_S tips. Intent is to keep the tips flush and tapered with the bumper to the best of our (GHL's) ability.

I for one appreciate the work ya'll are doing. Only good things come from having more vendors... More choices, lower prices, and even more vendors.
I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures whenever it happens... if it happens.
But in the mean time, I'm waiting for pictures...
Thanks again for taking this in the right direction Kennedy and Twigglius.

I'm just as tired as Kennedy about the flaming. Everyone can state their opinion, like I have stated mine.
But I can't wait for the final product. Already told my wife that I'm buying the system, even though I have a Magnaflow exhaust. I WANT another option than CT, and did some checking on the GHL, and I have NO problem with what Twig and Kennedy are doing. I wish I had contacts that could help all of us out.
Put me down as the #2 buyer for this system!!!!!
