I love how the flow masters sound in V8 Mustangs and im wondering how it would sound in our TL. Anyone have any expericences??

 

I ran 40 series flowmasters on my 65 mustang...man do i miss the tone those mufflers produced.

It will be extremely difficult to produce a sound like that coming from a v8 mustang.

I would go with the flowmasters over the magnaflows.

 

I had Flowmasters and they were very loud drone in 6th gear. I now have Comptech exaust.

 

I've never really thought about putting Flowmasters on an Import. However, they sound great on my 98 Mustang

 

the comptechs produce the same drone in 6th gear as well.

 

Our car is imported from ohio?

Noob question: Would the exhaust sound any better or different if my car were a 6mt?

 

Then you should listen to the Flowmasters. They are much louder.

 

i woudnt put flowmasters on the tl....i dont think there is room. flowmaster makes one or two mufflers with a small enough case to fit and i really dont think the tone will sound right. flowmasters sound great on mustangs but i would stay away from them on the tl.
