Excelerate motor mount issue
XLR8 62A Mounts here - no issues or abnormal clunks so far.
I've had them for about a year now (installed in January of last year) and ~4,000 miles.
kolgjeraj, how many miles and years have you had them for?
Also, when does the clunk occur: is it when putting the shifter into first, or is it as you engage the clutch?
If you're hearing a clunk when putting the shifter into first gear, then that's normal. My TL has always done that (especially when the transmission is cold).

Also, I'd appreciate it if you could revise the title because the mounts aren't the issue.
Recheck the torque on the mounts bolts (they should be fine, just to rule it out).
Then, check and make sure the clutch job was done correctly.
If not, there could just be slack in the gears of the transmission (I've had this, and I've done everything under the sun to diagnose it on a previous car). You just notice it more now because the mounts are solid. It's more annoying than anything.

I hope you update back to us the fix.
I agree with everyone else here that this is most likely a clutch issue. However, before you rip the clutch out again, it wouldn't hurt to give the XLR8 mounts and stock transmission mounts a quick once over for obvious damage. For reference, here are the locations for the engine and transmission mounts: https://www.dropbox.com/s/q9ob1y68qt...%20Mounts.jpeg
Just out of curiosity, what happens if you disengage and engage the clutch while in neutral with the car running? If it's still making a clunk, then it's definitely a clutch issue (or even an input shaft issue).
In any case, if you end up taking out the clutch, it wouldn't be a bad idea to check the play of the transmission's input shaft. Also, I'm not sure if it's a big deal for the TL, but I know that the surface of the input shaft that rests on the pilot bearing (i.e., the very end of the input shaft) wears down over time. If this surface wears down enough, you can end up with all kinds of funky transmission issues down the road, so make sure you check that out too.

When in neutral engaging and disengaging the clutch it does not make noise. It is when I am taking off in first gear that I hear the clunk and its also clunks after I shift or give it gas. I doubt that it is a clutch issue.
