I guess i will post up a recent chart from my Accord. I will be getting tuned soon as im running around on this Accord base map with the FlashPro. Dyno used was an Mustang MD-500SE 2WD. Mods list: Two things left alone pretty much bottom end and stock intake manifold with butterflies deleted. Might get tuned this weekend. I have a build thread in this section with lots of Dynos... most after every part change. Not bad for a little J30A4 LOL But also im looking at possibly selling my current heads and swapping in a 3.2 or 3.5.

261whp/211wtq SAE corrected. Uncorrected was 272whp/220wtq

Considering your mods, that's pretty solid for a base auto TL ^

Considering those are STD numbers, that is pretty disappointing. That would be closer to 220 SAE. Did you ever dyno before the e-tune?

Im curious about this too. Alot of people dont get baselines so they have nothing to compare their tune too. No telling really what gains were had and where they were made.

I'll add mine to the mix. Chart plus dyno pull video. Rv6v3 jpipe is the only power mod right now. I still have the milled MDX spacer and a P2R TB spacer to add on at some point, and then I'll reun again at the same shop:

^^ That sounds incredibly good. Good numbers too, for just a J pipe/third cat delete and mufflers.

Yea but not a great one haha. I went to a local dyno day for BMWs and my car was supposed to go first. The dyno machine was blowing fuses as they were trying to calibrate the machine with my car on it, and they had to cancel the dyno day. They gave us credit so as soon as it is working and I have completely finished my tuning with Vit, I'll go back there and dyno.

Sucks but at least I can now finish my tune first. Oh, and all the BMW owners loved the sound of my xlr8 exhaust and had great things to say overall. It was the first time I've heard my car from outside the car going to redline....loved it. They said they appreciate a clean type s since they are so rare in San Diego. So some good came out of it haha

So... I went back through my thread and grabbed all of my dyno sheets from the same dyno. Ive been pretty good with recording the changes made and dynos shortly after each change. So here they are:

Base- 218/183
2nd Mod- 226/190
New Graph- 230/197

My Base- AEM V2 CAI, Borla Catback, XLR8 V1 J-Pipe, RV6 Resonated Test Pipe
2nd Mod-Swapped on XLR8 V2 J-Pipe and removed XLR8 V1 J-Pipe and RV6 Resonated Test Pipe
Newest Graph(at the time)- V3 PCDs and XLR8 75A mounts installed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A couple months later the car was back on the dyno and the car went from 230whp/197wtq to 227whp/200wtq. The changes were the butterflies were removed and the milled intake manifold spacer installed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then came the 3" exhaust install and the before and after.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Got Pauls(NVA-AV6) headwork done(milled/ported/polished) and ported runners with TL-S valve springs and camshafts. Also the ZDX TB was installed. Then went back on the dyno and my clutch was slipping terribly. 246whp/200wtq SAE corrected.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Couple months after the clutch was replaced and worked slowed down went back on the same mustang dyno. Car made 261whp/211wtq with the same mods it had when the clutch was slipping. Still stock block and intake manifold with just butterflies deleted. Still oem stock j30 ecu.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eventually i will get back on the dyno and get tuned with the FlashPro thats in the car. Currently running the Accord basemap which i have modified slightly after several datalogs. I will say that reviewing the logs and the injector duty cycle... In some places it was over 80% IDC.. So i guess im making the stock 270s do work. Maybe dyno Sunday if im lucky.

so you gained 15/10 with just replacing a slipping clutch/butterfly delete? ^

The butterflies were deleted a while ago. The last dyno i made before the head work/TL-S cams/ZDX were installed was 233whp/202wtq. After the mods listed above i went to dyno again and my clutch was slipping the entire pull. So the car only made 246whp/200wtq(This dyno shouldnt really be a focus point because of the slipping clutch.) Then i got the clutch replaced and redynoed. That's when the car made 261whp/211wtq.

So my gains were 28whp/9wtq from the head work/TL-S cams/ZDX TB installed with the stock ecu. I have Hondata FlashPro and am currently running on the basemap, I will be getting tuned soon. Sorry for any confusion. I know I will gain more with the 3.7 manifold, but i havent done it yet because im contemplating boost.

I need to get back on dyno with all my new mods. This is the onlu sheet I have and at the time I only had pre cat deletes and pnp runners I did myself.

Mid 250's SAE is excellent for just PCD's (ported runners on their own aren't really doing much). I think stock for the Type S auto is only mid 230's?

Nice! SAE or STD? PCD's and 3.7 manifold/TB/4" intake should get you to 270.

Sounds like too much hassle. I bought the e-tune, but I'll probably just go get it dyno tuned. I only drive the car maybe two-three times a week. At that rate, it'll take way too long to tune. I don't have the time or the patience.

SAE, I would go HFPC over PCD that's just my preference and the bucking issues have scared me away from the 3.7 intake and TB. I mod at a snails pace

It's a long process but it's a good process, my friend used to work at Bosch and they took long trips in different climates just working on calibrations. The one down side to a dyno is you don't actually get all of the loads you see on the road.

I'd recommend the HFCs over the PCDs. I have them and there's no rasp. The power difference is negligible. And as far as the 3.7, I have no surging/bucking problems. I know some people were experiencing it. I do have some mildly annoying rev hang, but it's worth the extra power.

Yeah, Nitrous Starts to flow at 3500, so the kick comes right after that when full pressure is applied, then as it runs through the bottle pressure dies a little causing a slight drop. I was super impressed that the TQ went up that high. when the Nitrous shuts off it all plummets.

Also remember this is on a smoothing factor of 5. if I go to 3 or 1 its a different look.

Thank you posting the graph, but like Sonnick something is up with your graph. The Hp and torque always cross over at 5252 rpm since HP is a function of Torque. Maybe your rpm scale is offset for the runs?

Here is one of the other runs when I was at a 75 shot but had a hickup in the car. This one is totally un changed printed from the shop no run file. no smoothing factor change, no tire size adjustment.

Who knows maybe I clicked something when messing around in the dyno graph and didn't realize it.

Great numbers, but it's odd that the extra .2 liters showed 25 whp. Stock J30 a4 and J32 a3 are generally only ~10-12 whp apart. J30 a5 is even closer.
