Creating a Customed Exhaust... Any preferences??

Hey i know this question has been beat but i guess I am going to ask my specific questions. I tend to create my own exhaust. First i will start with the dynomax resonator and mid exhaust delete with a strait pipe. then i want to change the stock muffler cans to something else. I was thinking maybe flowmasters? Then lastly i will add a jpipe.
All incite is welcomed. Please do not use all of this stage 2, 3 lingo as i dont know what that means... newb on this site. Am i forgetting anything that should be replaced. Im not sure if i will keep the stock piping... or if i should change it. I dont really know much about the exhaust... but i dont think i really want a full exhaust kit like many have gotten here

I presonally wouldnt chop up the stock exhaust to do all of that. For about 50 extra bucks (over what u would spend on chopping it up) the shop can create all new piping and use the resonator and new mufflers ur going to buy.

You should just get a full custom exhaust. Not a pre-made one, and make it how you like it.

pop the hood and look down. Right between the radiator and the motor your precat is attached to the J pipe on the bottom end and the motor on the top end

its the cats that come down from the engine block, and connect into 1 pipe, before the j-pipe and 3rd cat.

flowmaster mufflers + dynomax resonator = MEGA DRON BOMB
I wouldn't recommend it if you daily drive your car

I had a dynomax resonator magnaflow muffler custom and it had deafening drone.

Swapped out the dynomax with a magnaflow that was longer and larger which toned it down 10x.
