Comptech short shifter installation

I was trying to put the comptech short shifter in today, at the end after taking everything apart, the dam bushing won't come off, i tried pulling it off with a wrench demonstrated in the instructions manual for about an hour. THe comptech short shifter i ordered did not come with the tool to help you pry the bushing off the round ball at the end of the shifter, i simply give up. any one know a place that will remove the bushing off the round ball and put the short shifter in for me if i send in my whole shifter assembly?

Get a piece of flat bar, drill a hole in it and hacksaw an opening. That's all the tool you get it.

i finally got it off, thank god, i used a 13mm wrench and placed it under the bushing, and at the other end of the wrench, i took a hammer and hit it as hard as i could till the bushing pop off, this short shifter feels awesome and shifting gears is so precise now, feels almost like my friends s2000, definitely one of the best mods for 70 buckz
