Carbon fiber steering wheel, anyone has it?

I saw on eBay that one guy is selling the carbon fiber steering wheel.
While I'll deffinitely get the front and rear console sarbon trim, steering wheel is a bit pricey.
Maybe someone has it and would like to share pics?

I have the wood grain steering wheel (parchement interior) and love it! Everytime I get in and grip the wheel I'm glad I made the decision to get it. It was kind of pricey (about $600 with install) through th dealer, but I didn't want to take the risk of installing myself, too afraid of screwing something up. I also got the wood knob on the shifter to match it. I've never been sorry I spent the money, it looks and feels awesome!

I recently installed the A-spec steering wheel. They are fairly easy to install, once you get yours off...you can take it in the house and switch the four switch sections over to the new wheel (all switches in each cluster just have one main wire hookup - so there is only 4 hookups for the switches.....one for the ground and one for the airbag. Dont let the airbag removal scare you either......what you are looking at is what comes out...the whole horn area on one big section and the airbag is attached underneath....you just lay the whole thing aside and reinstall after. I guess I should also mention you have already disconnected the battery at this point which disables the airbag. After this is off...the main nut is exposed and can be loosened and the wheel removed. Take it inside and deal with it there. Bring new one out and rebolt it back up! Comes with FULL instructions too.

I do note though...when removing the steering wheel....the only thing you have to be careful about is mading sure you dont open the wire reel directly underneath it on the hub which has two protuding tabs or "pencils" into the bottom of the steering wheel which make it turn with the motion of the wheel...make sure this case doesnt open and unspool the wire reel or you will have to respool it....which isnt easy. If you dont open this round reel at the base...the install in really very easy, and now that I have told you about the wire reel and the two plastic tabs....you will see them and not have a problem with it. I did it in the dark?

Wood grain is nice. I would like to see pics of it installed. But I think carbon fiber is more rare. I've never in my life seen a carbon fiber steering wheel. My friend used to have a 97 S500 2 door with wood steering wheel. Felt and looked awesome

If you look on the Acura website, they offer a CF steering wheel and CF center console front and rear trim kits. The CF steering wheel is on my possible future mods list.

I LIKE THAT!! I haven't seen that before. It would definitely cap off the other CC trim pieces.

The leather is different....it is a slightly different shape (fatter by a minor bit in just the right spots), blue stitching, and the silver leather thumb cut outs you see. Other than that...they work the same!

I may consider the A=Spec wheel because the install doesn't seem as hard as I imaginined. Its a lot of money but its something youll enjoy everytime and notice.
