if yoo guys havent gathered from my posts, I used to be a big time car show kinda guy.
well, I have an S-AFC laying around from those days and was wondering if it would splice in. No, i wouldnt use it to tune anything...it would just be there for kicks.

well, there isnt a wiring diagram on the apex-i site, but i guess if i can just find the correct slots for the throttle, ignition, and all that kinda stuff, it should work, i guess....

I don't see why not. If it is only for looks you just need to find the wires to tap; only thing is that you may not get all the wires but you'll have enough to get like RPM, throttle pos, etc.

I was looking at this too, I've got a VAFCII laying around. I got in touch with somebody at Apex-I but they told my that testing for the VAFC or SAFC had not been performed by them yet. He told me if I was feeling lucky I could go ahead and install it myself by using a wiring diagram and locating the pin outs. The guy on the phone sounded pretty confident that it would work however they were not going to advertise until it had been thoroughly tested.
I'm not sure I'll be covered by warranty when I break something so, I'm holding off on the tuning portion for now but I may use it for monitoring.
