CAI Installation Instructions

I've searched and can't find this information. Could someone please post links to (or scans of) the complete installation instructions for the popular clean air intake systems (Injen, AEM, Fujita)? Particularly for the 4th Gen TLs.

you mean the 3rd Gen TLs...... and when you buy it it comes with pictures on how to install it on our car. All you need to do is take the driver side wheel out and the lining. Then unbolt the stock intake and drilling of 2 places. switch one coolant line and a vaccum line done! search intake for pictures.

EternaLlx, I did mean the 3rd Gen TL's... sorry for the confusion. I have searched on every combination of CAI install and not found a lot. I was hoping to see install instructions before finalizing my order of Injen, AEM or Fujita......

yeh..same thing happened to me when i was installing. There was a bolt that i just couldn't find when taking out the intake. I found it but still ended up cutting the bottom pipe that goes back up on the engine side of the frame. I refuse to pull off the front bumper on this car. So many more clips and screws than a civic. Either way it was still worth it in the end. I took some pics. I 'l see if i can upload them.

The instructions that come with the intake are good enough for any average mechanic wanna be, one note I will have to add is that you do not need to drain the radiator, just read the instructiosn well before you disconnect a small hose that has antifreeze and you will save yourself at least an hour on the install.
If you are close to MA I can help since I've already done 2 other TL's not to mention a RSX-S, a Si, an Element , a Civic Ex......and a few others....

Thats the install but not very detailed, just an idea.
Taking the bumper of is an option but most of the members here did it with just taking off the driver side wheel and linings.

Your gonna want to unclip this

contains coolant so be careful

a couple screws and a clip you have to take off

where i had to cut the intake

two hose you'll connect

re-ground..the one at the top( forgot to circle)

two hoses connected (for coolant)

intake bump/rattle mount thingy

intake installed

but pictures do come with it like stated. i have more but I dont think they are necessary:P good luck, if you decided to purchase
