Hey guys so I found a totaled 2005 tl with the 6mt, and i found a 2006 mt ecu, will i have any problems with this setup? I have a 2006 A/T myself.. Just want to know before i purchase.

 

gauge cluster, shifter , clutch master and slave and pedal and lots of other things needed. will be cheaper to sell your auto and buy a mt. may as well get an 07-08 type S then

 

Its a LOT of work to convert from at to mt. You should spend some time reading up on it and decide if its something you really want to go through with. If I wanted the 6mt that badly id just sell my auto and get one.

 

I did the 4AT to 5MT swap in my 2000 accord and it was a paint in the ass to make sure you have everything to properly do the swap and then making sure all the parts were in good enough shape to still be used etc.

If you arent tied to badly to the car, sell it and swap anything from your current car to the 6MT TL. Much easier.

 

i am tied to it, allot of work has gone into this car and its fully paid off and i got it for 4k under what it was worth..

 

besides trans, clutch, ecu, harness, cluster, peddles, clutch master, slave cylinder, shifter box, shifter linkage and starter. I have all this. besides all that what do you need ? what are all the small stuff that no one mentions??
