i posted this in a few other threads but got no where with it, so i posted my own..so here it is..currently im running a stage 3 exhaust (dynomax resonator and mid-muffler deleted)..it sounds awesome but i want a lil more aggressive growl without turning it into a race pocket..i was thinking of replacing my OEM mufflers with borla's and welding on my stock tips to keep it looking all stock..what do u guys think? would it sound good with the stage 3 combo? any ideas or suggestions? im on the verge to jus order them and do it n see what happens..i kno a lot of ppl had done this before but dont know if anyone has done it with a stage 3..let me kno what u think

so just go with the borla turbo muff's?..are the XR-1 racing oval mufflers any good? also i noticed offset/center and center/center..which 1 would b better for my TL? how come not the boomers(never heard them in person or know much bout them)..i jus want it to sound sexy..not sound like a honda civic with fart cans..

 

also ..if u have any sound clips of ur borla setup so i can get an idea of how it would sound on mine

 

get the turbos, center/center should be fine. the boomers are crappy and sound bad. search the 2G CL forums for sound clips, or go to youtube and look up my username "cleancl"

 

what size should i get? 2 1/4 ?

 

2.25 is good unless you plan on forced induction.
