I found this searching online...CC Insert. They tremendously reduce drone and lower the exhaust volume. It really works great. A started a thread on it below.

this solved all my problems....
I had the same problem with my ATLP quads. Then Mike from ATLP recommended this resonator http://www.amazon.com/Vibrant-1141-U.../dp/B000E3VHWI from vibrant. And let me just say THANK GOD I bought it. I could not tolerate the "ricey" sounds coming from my Type-S. (I will say that my set up, most likely the pre-cat deletes, were the main cause of the rasp and ricey-ness noise, but this resonator did the f'ing trick. Note: it will tone down the overall loudness of the exhaust, but, and this is a big BUT, it did NOT sacrifice any performance since it is a 2.5" inlet/outlet. Overall it was 100% the investment.
BTW Amazon had it for about $18 cheaper then the actual Vibrant website, which is why I added the link. Plus it has free 2-day shipping. Anyway hope this helps.

^ I think you hit the nail on the head! My ATLP V2 quads were sold last night to a member who has a 3.2 base and the sound is DEF allot different on a base model & more toned down. The 3.5 is just a tad aggressive with the ATLP V2 quads especially for someone like me who uses the car for business. I will hopefully soon be getting the resonated version from ATLP. Thought about other resonators and keeping what I had but I dont want to tone it down too, too much. Mike also told me that the amount of weight and/or amount of people do make a difference in the sound. Maybe bigger guys vs smaller guys get more drone, lol. Maybe I got more of it since my wife is BBW, lmfao! JK! I may have had more of it cause I usually have 3 people in the vehicle for business and stuff in the trunk. Keeping my fingers crossed for the new res.

Damn this is still being discussed?
I posted this right after I installed the exhaust, and at that time it was a little loud. However, after a couple of months the sound did lessen quite a bit and now I love it

lowlife19: yeah i could have just bought the resonator from ATLP or another company but I decided I didnt want the hassle of getting my existing pipes cut and welded again. I had a buyer for ATLP and I am basically paying the $150 difference for res and some change pending the Type-S exhaust I got as part of the deal sells for $400. A little sloppy I know but I helped a friend out who wanted the non res asap.

Advanced
I wonder how the RV6 exhaust is going to compare to the ATLP and Comptech as far as sound and droning, particularly on the 3.5L. I've got the money set aside but I really need to hear it first.
