ATLP highflow cat

i just bought one semi used.. around 10k miles through it for 235$. was that a good deal?
also
how hard is this to instal?
i just got my cold air intake done... everything else is stock i have an 04 base tl
should i go ahead and get this put on or wait until my jpipe comes in
like i said before im getting the atlp base cb exhaust for graduation.

but yeah

also i was told by buying this whole setup my mpg will go down?

i was also told that it wouldnt be to bad if i got a high flow cat instead of the usual race pipe/ test pipe 3rd cat delete.

im going to leave the precats alone because i lose to much torque.

thanks and i appreciate all the inputs

It is worthless, unless you go pre-cats. I went race pipe since Im keeping stock cats. If race-pipe wasn't cheap I would have just left it alone since it does zero gains, just better flowing for j-pipe and such I feel.

^ wouldn't say worthless but if you have a jpipe and exhaust its something of an eco friendly bottle-kneckless solution

bolt on mods have nothing to do with MPG decrease. if anything it increases, on the highway doing 65 i get 34mpg

its just people driver the car faster and harder that causes the mpg decrease

bottlenecking means a rough transition from point a to b

example: take 2 soda bottles, 1 is filled. put the empty bottle ontop of the filled bottle(top against top) and flip it. what happens? it takes forever from liquid to go from A to B.

same concept in a car. except the cats are the bottle neck point
