Waits for thread to be transfered to the Off Topic Section.

Good luck with this one OP. Your not the only one. I am going to miss the threads of people showing off their brand new ATLP'z fresh out the box.

You can always PM mike at ATLP and ask him. You never know he may have one layin around. GL finding one.

He has a point guys. Mikes comin out with a new exhaust for the base crowd and it looks pretty bad ass. It's the same as the quads just the tips are changed. You should check it out.

(and no I will never sellll my exhaust lol)

I see your point, and it's nice, but I don't want base-looking tips on my Type-S. It's exactly one of the reasons I don't want the Comptech or GReddy exhausts. They just don't seem to flow with the A-Spec kit like quad tips.

And I don't think anyone of us are asking Mike to stop production on his new exhaust. We would just like to know if Mike would consider starting production again for the quad exhaust if & when he feels there is a sufficient demand to do so. But, I'll stop. I've already sent Mike a PM, so I don't need to repeat what I've told him.

I feel for you guys wanting this exhaust, but to be honest, I like the exclusiveness of it. From the start, Mike said it would be a limited run. I wasn't going to pick one up until this summer but when Mike posted that the last batch was being produced at the end of last year, I had to pull the trigger.

Also, from posts I've seen in other threads, it looks there could be another ATLP quad exhaust for sale in the near future....not the same one Blackura is talking about.....and definitely not mine.

i know what you guys mean with the exclusiveness blah blah blah and idk about everyone else who wants it but i tried to get it used from 2 different people who were selling them and they had rediculous asking prices i would rather just buy it new then buy it used and get scammed

If he's got another one in process of being designed, then I'll patiently wait for it's arrival. I've got about 2 months before I have the funds anyway.

You misunderstood. The "other" quad exhaust for sale would be off somebody else's car. Not a new atlp quad exhaust. You'd have to ask Mike for any definitive answers though. Anything I, or anybody else says, about it is just speculation based on past conversations but Mike could easily change his mind should he choose to. Last I heard, he was moving on to other projects. Remember, given his situation (school, self-made business), it's got to be a huge hassle to stay on top of mass production of all the atlp products.

Seriously though, the best and easiest way to get all your questions answered is just to call/e-mail Mike directly. He's very good at responding to questions. That's how I found out about the last run of exhausts.

Stromung

Since ATLP exhaust is using Stromung, it seems like Stomung might come out with their own exhaust system for TL-S. I went to http://www.stromung.com/ and I saw "BMW, Honda/Acura Applications to be Listed Soon !! ". Anyone know anything about this?

Nothing for nothing....but your new here arent you? Rude post man. Not cool. My thinking is that if you read between the lines you will be able to figure out the politics behind that one.

It would be much easier if you guys created a list of who wants to be apart of the LIMITED ATLP QUAD-BATCH. It would be much easier to submit to Mike--or much easier for Mike to see who is actually interested.

I'll start you guys off:

1. tl2slow
2. TLNY04
3. Rick_TL-S
4. MichealBenz
5. erickim730
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

As a recent ATLP Quads owner---I wish you guys best of luck in this batch! Just 6 more members needed.

If I made a mistake on the mentioned 5 members please correct yourself.

ATLP love for everyone! =]

I really want a quad tip exhaust... Do I need a Type-S tail for this one to fit? I was a little disappointed when I spoke to him and he said it was discontinued.

You need the Type-S Bumper or the Type-S A-Spec ... or to chop up your existing bumper.

And sorry MichaelBenz! I didn't even realize I mixed the A and the E until you mentioned it.

Congrats on getting another run of these going. Once again, Mike caters to his client base I wonder if he changes the badging for this batch. I think each of the previous three batches has a different badge/logo:

1st - "ATLP" on top of tips.
2nd - "ATLP Laboratory" on the side of the tips.
3rd - Smaller "ATLP Laboratory" on top of tips.

As far as feedback, there's two ways to look at it. On one hand it's good to see people able to get the performance parts they want, especially considering this place really is a community where people help others. Not to mention it puts some cash in Mike's pockets. On the other, when you get something that's available on a limited run, you expect that to be the case. Personally, I'm fine with it but the real decision is Mike's. I actually bought this exhaust because I believe it's the best available. Add in the fact that, given it's limited availability, it's got built-in originality and increased resale value (hopefully a LONG way off ).

I don't feel 10 more would change this.......but, what happens down the road when demand reaches similar levels? Will you have an issue with your "last-run" exhaust not being the last run? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you guys are getting the opportunity to get in on this....I just tend to look at things from all angles.

There will be no last, last batch. If anything, it will just be this group of 10.

This is what I wrote to the few guys that PM'ed me.

"I feel unfair to those that have been asking me, as that makes me feel like I didn't give an adequate amount of warning. I also feel unfair to the crowd that got the last batch of ATLP exhausts, as they might feel that it's unfair that I would make another batch.

In honesty, if there is at least 10 people interested, and the majority of current ATLP owners agree that one last batch of 10 should be allowed to be made, than I will run one last batch of 10 systems. But this is to be decided solely on ATLP owners, really. Feel free to qoute me."

So, that's what I wrote. Now it's really down to if there is a strong, OK, and if we have 10 people. Also, just to restate, this will be the LAST batch made, if it is made.

Ok I tried searching... but does anyone have a pic or can link me to a pic with the quad exhaust on the 06 A-Spec rear? If there's not too much cutting involved and it looks right, I'm in.

Sorry guys I gotta be a little selfish right about now and say I dont want anybody else rocking the ATLP. 100 exhaust is more than enough in the world. When other people ask me where they can get them, I want to tell them that they cant anymore. Its just feels good. HAHAHA jst jkin A part of me is like sure let them have it but a part of me is like wtf! I wont be a jerk and ill say yea you guys can make 10 more. (shit shit shit) wooooooo ssaaaaaaa woooooo ssaaaaaa

(unless all the other ATLP owners say no then ill have to agree with them)

I thought about this a bit at work, today, but I think I'll hold my tongue on some of the issues that crossed my mind as I can see where current owners would want the exclusive-ness.

My only concern right now is how long would the exhausts take to make? I don't ask out of impatience, but more-so as a way to let me know how long I have to get finances in order. That is also of course, if the deal goes through.

Aite you know what? Fuck it... If this goes through I'm in. I'll do whatever it takes to get this thing to fit. How much is the deposit?

And for the current owners, I wouldn't worry about exclusiveness, it's only 10 more! (absolute last last last last last batch right?) After these ten you can still tell people you can't get em anymore. And then go into this great story about how 10 people had to get YOUR permssion to get 10 more made because that's how tight this exhaust is!

ETA would be about 1.5 months - 2 months.

Deposit of $200 due now, remainder due 1 week prior to shipping.

No, this is final.
