Anyone with experience in ported intake runners and manifold?
Anyone with experience in ported intake runners and manifold?
Just spoke with P2R about porting my intake runners and port matching the manifold as well as the throttle body. Anyone have this done and what kind of improvements did you see/feel?
Cool ill prolly be seeing him this week so ill ask him then and see where he got it done because P2R wants something like 450 to do all 3.
$450 for what kinda gains? Wouldn't you need to port-match the heads, after doing the runners? Ideally, you'd wanna do the heads too, so you can run bigger valves, and take complete full advantage of the porting
Exactly. Things like this are usually done from the airfilter all the way to the exhaust as each one compliments the other. Generally intake runners outflow the heads so there's not a whole lot to be gained.

maybe you should talk to him more because last time I was over at his garage he had them sitting there chillen, maybe he hasn't sold them yet
& head work is a pretty penny if you are paying someone to do it.
