Any silly reason my car won't start?

So I took the old intake off and built a custom CAI. The car has sat a week or two waiting on parts. I finally finished the intake and try to start it and nothing....

It act like it wants to start but does not kick over

Tomorrow I will try and jump the battery but all the electronics work just fine. I know that does not mean a whole lot. I have only had it for a couple of months.

If the battery checks out ok what should I try next?

Brings me to another question. Anyone know any good battery testers so I could tell when I will have to get it replaced?

Hope I jumped the gun posting here.

Most likely you dont have enough juice. hook up an ohm meer and check the voltage as is. Should range between 11.5-13. If not, jump it and let it charge, since you havent started it for a week or two battery level may just be low.

You can also take it to autozone to get a load test done on it.

Guess you are in need of a braille 21lbs battery........ Jeggs.com or jegs.com however it is spelled has the best price

It is smaller than the battery the s/c kit provides

I've been running it hard since I got it, no worries no complaints... The thing cranks so quick you'd think my car wasn't off

god I dread the day I gotta replace the battery in my SC TL...
1) anyone figure a way to get the battery out without pulling the charger or SC elbow?

could you not remove the CAI and pull it out from the inner fender?

2) since the braille is smaller, think replacement may be easier?

Relocate it to the back. I felt this reduced a good amount of understeer.

Man I wish I would have done so when they installed the SC. The place that installed it said they could do it at any time for $80-$100

If you relocate it to the trunk you won't have to remove it hahahahahaha lazy american way hahhahahahah no but seriously I'd soooo try and find away to drop it down rather than having to uninstall and reinstall the s/c

actually, i read somewhere that somebody was able to through the drivers side wheel well.... remove the wheel, the fender lining, the intake, and wrap the battery terminals so they dont scratch the elbow

wasnt sure if it was a braille or the interstate battery.. but i definitely read it on this forum... i guess give it a search....

Car starts Intake sounds mean! Don't know if it will actually help but o well.

Actually RYAN97812 told me he was able to remove it by shimming the battery around and I think it was the interstate.

HAHA i replaced the battery when my optima took a shit, i did it during my lunch break in a half an hour. All i ended up doing was removing the air box and jockeying it around to get it out. Theres plenty of room to get it out!!!!
