AEM v2 install problem

i just finished installing my aem v2 in 2005 acura TL. I didnt know ahead of time that as soon as i pulled the coolant tube all the coolant would rush out. Besides that i connected everything but i was wondering do I take out the old tubes and metal part? Right now it just seems to be hanging in the engine bay.

ALso is there a specific coolant i should get or just any from like target or walmart.

I suggest getting coolant from an Autozone, or releated places...

I would go with a Honda-recommended coolant.

well that is a closed system, and because of this there is always fluid in the lines, so, yes fluid will come out. i used a pair of small locking pliers to minimize that loss. i cant fully remember, but i believe some of the old stuff does need to come out. i think that "metal part" contains the old tubes as a solid unit, so when you install and or redirect the new lines those old ones come out.

there is a writeup with pictures on how to do this properly. thats what i followed and didnt have an issue. if i can find i will post.
