What exactly can you achieve with this for our cars and how would it benefit the N/A guys if at all. forgive my ignorance but i know there are a bunch of guys on this site that really know their shit.

Wow, and i just talked to AEM 2 weeks ago asking about something for the 04-08 TL, and they acted like they could not get there program to work with the main unorthadox hal effect crank sensor. Wish the POS tech at AEM would have told me about this 2 weeks ago.

Ohh, and to help you a little on your question, it will not help you much if you stay NA, unless you do a high compression build. It just lets you fine tune your motor. It will work very well for the boosted setups.

I would love if this worked on the 3G without deleting any of the cars features. I know the older version would work but would eliminate, the headlights, navi, abs brakes, ac and many other features I enjoy. If I were NA I would use the $1300 to get some boost. I was under the impression that this was still in the testng phase for the TL, might only be usefull for those using the j32a3 in other cars.

Are there any updates with the full replacement ECU that was in the works? I forget who was saying they were working with a company to make it a reality. ETA was supposed to be within 6-9 months from now If i'm remembering correctly....

As far as I know, the EMS will not work out of the box with the TL. Partly because of the DBW (drive-by-wire) and potentially some issues with the HVAC and the gauges.

I'd say it's definitely possible with enough time and research into the issue. I'll be looking into it once the new engine is in and running.

J/R as I recall run the FI/C on there turbo setup. Its not a full standalone just a more advanced piggy back. Newer EMS's are slowly trying to figure out the dbw deal right now. Its gonna be a while but apparently my buddy at Haltech says they have something in the works but I dunno if it will work with acura systems since they mainly do nissans.
