Cool V2? Did someone say V2???

Don't buy the standard AEM intake, now that we have the V2 from AEM put in our TL's!! It's not just the sound of it that's better. It will give you more low/mid range torque. I don't have any dyno numbers. But I have driven both!

Get the V2!!!

Here is the link to the install.

there is no bypass valve for the intake, even if there was one, it's not worth it, I have seen where the foam that it is made of deteriorates over time, then when it breaks apart enough, a chunk flies into your engine and can destroy it. Get the AEM V2 intake

^^^^ Where have you been? lol.
Two members so far [that I know of] have succesfully installed the AEM V2.
It's from the Accord... I don't remember what model(s) though.
I believe Stillhere said it was a tight fit and minor work was needed to make it fit.

He has a V1/V2 comparison thread.

spirit did you get it... installed? I been soooo busy I didnt even think to pm you...

as for the bypass valve... if you must..... if you get the v2 it will be compatible with the 3" diameter bypass valve as the aem v2 is 3" at the top 4" at the bottom... you pretty much can put it anywhere above the elbow....

for the record... CSMEANCE is CORRECTO

Don't use the bypass on the V2.....

That's what AEM said. It will interfer with the power increase you will get with the V2.

I havent had time to even start that yet. Was there a rubber connector in the box? You know, where the bypass would go. Between the TB and the CAI? I didn't see it in the box.....or the clamps.
