Thanks Jeremy! We went to see the car last Saturday, went to purchase it Monday, now going to pick it up.

My Wife found this TL yesterday. 29,027 miles!! It’s a base model, but does it fall the under unicorn category?

Yeah, even if a forgotten base 3G Automatic TL was found on some back lot of a dealership with only 2 miles on the clock it still wouldn't be a unicorn.

I’m thinking of replacing my beater TL with a 6MT base next year. My Wife is wanting to learn to drive Manuel someday, I figure the Comptech SC is better suited for a J32. Base 6MT is also a cheaper option.

Not as cheap as you might think; I bought a really clean 2006 6MT last year and paid only about two to three thousand less than a similar condition/mileage 2007-2008 Type-S 6MT.

Got all ready to go pick up Madame BlackBerry yesterday evening as the dealership called with news.
The car has been serviced, but it is currently at the body shop getting the necessary body work done. Body work will take most of Friday to be completed, then it’s off for a 3.5-4 hour detail. They said they may not have the time to detail it by 8pm. So now I have the choice of having it wait in Bellevue for 2.5 weeks or clean it myself.
We are flying out Saturday @ 10am, so it will be a tight time squeeze.

The dealership didn’t have the car ready by last Friday. Wifey suggested to take an Uber from SEA-TAC to the dealership and drive the car to PDX. Pick up our checked luggage and go home. Think it would work, since we have a stop in Seattle?
Whatchu fellas think?

The rear left door - 1/4 panel had a group
of scratches and a divit. They took it to a shop “6 blocks away” to get the work done.
I could have picked it up before the trip, but then they would “owe me a detail”. During Thanksgiving dinner, My Dad suggested I let them finish the work and not rush it. I took his advice.
I don’t like car dealers, but this dealership has been a breeze(TL) to work with.

Oh Ya! That’s why the box has chinese lettering.
Today is a special day. Wife and I are staying in a Villa built as the holiday home for lords in the 1540s. It’s on the top of a mountain in the Tuscan region. Stocked the fridge with Italian food. Now here for five days. Currently making a cup o joe and firing up the wet sauna.
