well sadly I won't be able to tune and dyno just the cams alone in isolation.

Because my cam grind is going to have lift and duration spec'd for 13.5:1 compression, if I were to install those cams as my car sits now, because I don't yet have the heads to raise the compression, it would run like shit, lol.

^ All I know is, your car is gonna be a monster. I know you will get after dyno results, so I'm not worried.

Additionally, the reason I am using the MS3 ( for nitrous only) in conjunction with Flashpro is because 1) It gave me the ability to datalog fuel pressure during my first hits of nitrous with a standard sensor and free analog inputs 2) It's high data sampling rate (not to mention megalogviewer software) made log analysis a breeze as compared to the Flashpro when I was having tuning issues. 3) I already owned it? 4) Oh, it does progressive nitrous. Thats a scary prospect though. Reduntant solenoids needed much?

Next on my list is triggering nitrous by gear (instead of just min/max rpm and TP, etc), and then an FI setup for next year with full bottom end, and 1st gen jseries heads which will actually find their way onto the block this summer (if they ever get here?) Im having my doubts at the shop doing the valvetrain work.

I did manage to trap 118.97 this past weekend on my "drag-racing-lackluster" track tires.....Dunlop Z1 Star Specs. But what can you expect, right? After a few runs, I ended just grandma'ing it of the line and back-halfing it for some mid 13's as you miight have expected would be the result. I suspect i'll be in the low 11's once the slicks arrive. It was still a thrill last weekend trying her out, though!

Here is a vid and time slip

haha, yeah...you should have seen a mash of the throttle or god forbid a 4k rpm launch.

Yeah, a buddy took it using my phone.

119 is a nice trap. I'm certain the car has more in it though, in both ET and trap. You could probably squeeze a mid-low 11 @ 122ish with a solid 60ft.

Are you shifting @ redline? It didn't sound like you shifted any gear at redline. I'd imagine you would have the rev limiter raised with your cams, but in the vids of your speedo it doesn't look like that. Any reason why?

Holy f*ing trap! You need some slicks and a few spare sets of axles. That trap is enough to pull base C6 Vettes on the highway.

Looking at the 31.5 mph gain on the second half, I'm assuming you didn't spray until ~ the 1/8 mile marker? If so, you should be able to trap 109 all motor. That's pretty remarkable.

Yeah dude, its a low 11 car indeed. And reason that I don't shift at redline in nitrous is that you typically spray within a window which falls 500rpm below fuel cut (if youre smart, that is)

Started a bit into 2nd, and no purge to lessen drive train shock delayed the hit. So yeah...at about the 1/8th.

awesome, andy. How did the new clutch feel? Glad your shop is putting my money to good use and clearly not skimpin' on valves , hopefully we'll see heads soon.

I'm still debating on if I should get that beefed up clutch kit right away or just burn my stock one out replace it in winter.

The vids are encouraging - can't wait to see it when you have slicks.

^^Clutch grabs well...no complaints there. Oh and at least they sent me a pic of the oil drain welding work...so there is SOME truth to it. I'm keepin my composure...until next week.

Yea you were definitely ripping down the back half, my Integ usually back halved 35mph. Love the car, bet it will surprise a few people.

If you do get serious and try to run a number on a radial, you might want to try limiting straps on the front coilovers, should help keep weight transfer down and more weight on the front end without running a drag suspension.
