Rear Motor Mount Removal?

So, I'm installing my XLR8 motor mounts, and have finished my side and front, and noticed a huge difference already. Those two were completely shot. So, I got my rear motor mount off, but my questions is for those that have done the swap. After you got the rear mount unbolted, how did you get the dang thing out of the engine bay? Through bottom, top, or someway else? There seems to be so much in the way I couldn't find a good spot to pull it out. I had to stop to take care of kids, so I haven't made it back out to try again, but just seeing how everybody else got it out before I try again. Thanks for your help.

I did mine through the top. Remove the front strut bar. It's tight but it WILL come out I have done it multiple times this way. I read some comments about ppl taking out through the bottom.... So I looked.... And thought 100% no way, those are BS comments. The gaps on bottom weren't even close to fitting a rear motor mount through.

Yeah, I looked at the bottom at I tried, and couldn't find any spot, but I didn't try taking off the strut bar, the accord bar is a little more of a pain in the butt to take off than the TL. But it'll be out and installed in the morning. Like I said, already noticed a difference with side and front. The side one was completely ripped apart and the front was torn all around. Rear one looks good, but swapping them all. Will be all done in morning, than put stock wheels on to drop off at body shop for paint. Then a whole pile of new engine mods. Thanks for the input paperboy

if you wanna do from bottom, you have to remove rear precat along with J-pipe.

I agree with paperboy. I read his post and fished mine through a bunch of wires from the top. worked fine.

For the most part no, but if its leaking fluid it may show enough through the gaps in the motor mount cover.
