dude tell me about it....
I have the slowest car stock....I have a 2005 Base 5AT....they dyno at 210....the Base 6MT dyno's at 220-ish.....
The Type S 5AT dyno at 230-ish and then the Type S 6MT dyno in at 250-ish....
i am fully bolted on and a Type S 6MT with only PCD's will pull on me....
i think i will be happy if i see 270 on the dyno....i should be around 260-265 topppsss.....to break the 300 i have to get cams+ECU+tune....with that i should be around 310-ish....

I couldn't help but to notice that the videos of the integra says jotech performance. Does that mean you are located in the Dallas area? I'm in the south Dallas area and to know that a 300WHP 6mt Type-S exists in the same city as I am is pretty bad ass. If you are in the Dallas area, did you go to CCM14 @ Lincoln Tech last month?

Even if a j pipe brings the whp fairly close, the 6mt will still be quicker due to the 100+ lb weight advantage, overall gearing and slow shifting nature of the 5at. You'll need more bolt ones to keep up. Honda really needs to look into building a performance oriented automatic. That's the direction things are heading and they're severely lagging behind the competition.

the only thing is the ECU shifts quicker than a human but the gearing is whack on the AT....yes but HP for HP, a decent 6MT drive will take the 5AT everytime.....

Im very glad to see happy people around here since it seems to inspire a lot of folks. No im not located in the Dallas area bro..sorry...Jo Tech Performance in central Florida.
Sonnick regarding the track? Damn dude Im gonna have to wait till 2 week of october. I am in Afghanistan right now and then heading out to Peru on vacation before going back to the USA for a few days.
All I can promise for now. Is the additional dyno numbers and clips once the car is tuned. Currently CMB Tuning left today to the Dominican Republic to tune a few cars. I say that...In about 2 weeks you can be expecting my TL tuned and hopefully a 320whp ball park.
For those interested in achieving this goal here is the deal. Put all the bolt on parts out there in production. Take note this is a 6 speed tranny and...I don not have the pulley...I think its a waste of time and money for no gains. Once all the bolt ons are installed...You will reach 300whp with the following items. Bored TB matching it to a bigger Intake Manifold opening. Ported and polished lower intake runners and YOU ARE SET...The question is...MEASURMENTS. LMAO...Im not trying to tease or anything...remember all measurments will change according to your current mods. This thing about huge ass 3.7L throttle bodies being bored etc does not work...WAY TOO much air.
I have been trying to document the power made by each mod. The intake runners after port and polished produced 4whp/6wtq. The bored TB produced 9.6whp/11wtq

the 2012SHAWD TB is 80mm and 70mm....so if you plan to go with the SHAWD Manifold and TB, you will have a bigger opening....

I actually just removed my PCD's. Loved the extra power but got sick of the smell and the rasp. I replaced them with type s cats as a compromise.
I just installed my pnp runners yesterday and I can feel the difference...I got torque steer in 2nd gear for the first time! I was always under the impression that the more air the better, that's why I am surprised to hear we can lose HP by having a TB which is too large.

^^^ well you need to keep the intake velocity up....a bigger TB will slow down the air....
but you need to have a decent intake setup so you can keep that intake velocity up

i think he mentioned it was 72mm and the inlet cannot be bored past 68mm....so am guessing he is around there....

Juam I gotta disagree with you saying the 3.7 manifold/TB setup flows too much air...I gained 5-6whp/tq throughout the powerband and 15whp peak. I'm full bolt on as well and a 3.0. All the J does is breathe. With the right I/E mods the car breathes really well, even on stock cams.
The 3.7 manifold opens has a 76mm throat while my ported stock manifold was 68. The throttle body is much larger too.

Sonnick...What I meant was that people think that just by putting a 3.7L manifold and TB or even worse bore the TB of the 3.7L WITHOUT previously having the necessary mods they will loose whp big time...
Common mistake that people tend to do...That is why (as I mentioned before) The specs of a bigger TB matched to a bigger manifold opening must go according to the current mods of your car. ^ I see what you mean and agree. The proper combination of I/E mods will get you big numbers, but they have to work with each other. Too much air on the intake side isn't going to do much if you can't get it out through the exhaust. I think the 3" exhaust is helping me as well since now I'm sucking in a ton of air. But I still need more lol with a larger intake

base 6MT dyno's at 215-ish 220 if the dyno is being nice....one thing you have to remember is you cant add HP....so the PCD's giving around 20-ish and the Jpipe giving around 8-10HP, when you do both mods, you will gain around 25-ish....
again this is just a number game....some people see more out of the mods, some see less.....it all depends on what "supporting" mods you have

Champ, I'm not sure if its possible. Although BLACKURA didn't have a pnp or bored TB and intake.
However, OP is talking up these PCDs like they are aphrodites tits and is really making me want them now. I just shelled out $700 this past two weeks on mods.
Maybe I should make that my goal...to hit 300whp in my type-s.

just quick example in quarter mile you need at least 280whp to beat a Stock TL-S 6mt in the 1/4 only after that you are toast in top end because 4th gear is that shitty!!!

the TL 6MT makes 298-303 (Andy and Juam) fully bolted on...the 5AT would be around 285-ish fully bolted on....
throw and ECU and tune and boom you are ~310

JnR ECU also has the ablility to Livetune with a wideband set-up but other then that yeah AEM should do the trick

I need more then CAI and I am already at or over 290whp with my new tune Rodney had sent me, the 281whp was the last official dyno so after that I got another updated tune which puts me around 290ish and it felt much peppier then the 281whp tune........When I say SRI it is not filter right from TB attachment my filter sits by the Fender and I have a ram set-up getting cold air from the lower side of bumper...it works for now and CAI would not change that much...I did change my filter to an AEM Dryflow as well...but yeah I want to run some soon in the cooler months Sept/October, gotta get in touch with Franchise.
And yeah he got some mods done I believe he got a RV6 Jpipe and AEM CAI(not sure on this one though), but yeah we gotta run again for sure!!! I am expecting same results as before in the low end and Top End a worthless race for me lol
