'07-'08 ECU in a '04-'06 to use Hondata

so has anyone done it yet? know what is required besides replacing the ecu its self? id love to do it i just need more info on the subject first and then ill be right on ebay buying one.

I couldn't find an MT ECU on ebay. Lots of AT's but I don't know what the difference is.

So in theory if I got my hands on a 2007 MT ecu the car would run?

Just remember that the 6MT was only available in the type-s version, I got the 08 part. For whatever reason, the 07 has a part # of 37820-RDB-A04 and the 08 is 37820-RDB-A12.

I don't think so. You need to repin a buttload of stuff and also account for some of the missing sensors.

Ive got an 06 with a 6MT thats base, and i got it from the dealer like that?

You should really do some research before posting something like this. The 3G Type-S was only produced in 2007 and 2008......

Only for the 04/05 and there appear to be 2 missing inputs, one temp sensor and a starter switch input.

It has been done and posted about in 2g cl section. Too bad no 3G tl owners will ever look at that section tho.
