Hello all.

I once had an account and can't remember anything about it (it really had nothing interesting in it anyway). So, NEW account for work on a NEW car, right?

Here is the starting info and the plans. PLEASE let me know if / what I am missing and if / what needs changed for the plan to work:

What I have :
- 1 very good condition 06 TL 5AT in black with the grey and black leather interior
- everything except the AC works right
- no interior issues beyond the cracking of the dash (I have disconnected the battery vampire behind the rear view mirror!)
- just about to hit 200k miles and the engine makes NO weird sounds or emissions of liquids / gases
- red powder coated calipers on freshly installed drilled and slotted rotors
- the exterior is in "good" condition ... a couple of small dings (left rear door was tapped by a door point at some time) and the standard scuffs / scratches, and worst of all the rust has begun in the right rear wheel well

What I plan:
- my overall intent is "black with dark bronze accents" by using dark bronze plasti-dip spray for any accent pieces that are currently silver inside and out and doing a clay bar / polish all around on the paint (with some body work on that rust)

(these have already been replaced when I sheared one off playing stupid games at a light))
- a set of coilovers in order to lower the car ~1 inch all around

- new rims and tires (not trying to go too low profile ... want a dark bronze for the rims)

- do i do the cold air modification prior to doing the S/C'er?
- door window wind visors (preferably in channel and in Mugen style but not super aggressively "styled")
- rear window top lip
- small profile spoiler (maybe the short duck-lip style?)
- back-up camera (best one that works with that android?)

Ok...I THINK that about covers it....... thoughts everyone? I look forward to a year or so of modifications and fun hanging out with my dad. We have EXCELLENT mechanical skills for ANY of the tasks here. Dad and his friends are old school gear heads who build award winning street rods and show cars. I think the only thing they shop out is transmission rebuilds (but NOone likes those I guess).
