So i was wondering which parts can migrate from an 06 to an 07 TL-S..

i know the CAI, pretty sure the Ur pulleys... but what about comptech catback or the e-shifts?? are those useable on the 07 TLS?

 

Yeah all that stuff fits. I have the CAI and the pulley and the thermoblock spacers. I was torn on getting the pro-cats because the Type-S cats are higher flowing than the TL anyways. Just think of it this way. Only difference of Type-S engine and 3.2 engine is internal.

 

how about the blower? will that fit?

 

as far as I know no one has installed one on the type-s yet. ALTHOUGH it will definitely fit. Only thing I see as a possible snag in my mind is the electronics. And not so much of a snag but room to improve. From comptechs site:

"Kit will come with Comptech's new ACM (Advanced Control Module) to add fuel in boost, lower VTEC (RPM to 4000 from 4800), and clamp MAP sensor voltage (@3.0 volts). ACM will come with jumper harness for the majority of its connections, but you will have to cut and solder 4 wires."

I just wonder if there could possibly be a different map for the type-S or maybe different fuel settings or something.

 

no matter what... we definitely need a way to start tuning these damn cars.... hondata or comptech need to come out with an ECU that is programable so we can start adjust AFR, MAP and all that crap..... i bet a new ECU could provide 30hp~ easily... if your boosted....a blower and new ECU w/ programmability... 100hp to the wheels i bet... these cars run very lean and there isnt much room for imporvement..
