First, let me state that I have great XM service all around my city. There is an area where I drive under a bridge and temporarily lose sat signal; what I am describing below is not the same.

Randomly and never in the same place, , my XM will go completely silent and I have to power the unit off an then back on to get XM back. This has even happened during one cycle of a red light (XM playing, goes silent, reboot, and then XM back). Anyone else have that kind of problem?

 

your XM unit may need to be replaced or reprogrammed.
