UPDATE: I just received this today. I can confirm that it is a fake and it doesn't even work in my vehicle. DO NOT BUY! These A-holes told me that they were taken from cars being shipped overseas, implying they were genuine.

Yes it's to good to be true and nothing I'm sure he can do but he paid for navigation discs and got usless discs. It would be like buying a car with no engine. Looking at the site though they sell so many different nav cd's and curious how they are still up if they are selling screwed up cd's.

Guys, I've been told another (3rd disc) has been sent. So these guys are at the least lousy at their business. Thankfully refunds are being given, and paypal provides buyers insurance.
I can't recommend them, sorry for any trouble. We tried.

You make no sense. You're telling the guy it's good to hear that he got his refund. If this company is offering refunds or like posted below they are sending the guy more discs in attempt to fix the issue how is anyone else morons?

Sucked into what? The company is issuing refunds or more discs that may or may not work. I'm sure if the buyer says so they will get a refund if they can't come up with good cd's. So how would that make them a moron? Both scenario's have been stated here. I don't know how you're not understanding this....it's not difficult to understand. You're calling people morons for no reason. Pretty trashy if you ask me.

Yes you're right. There are always moments like these on message boards. Sometimes it works and you're a hero sometimes it doesn't. On the Rs board someone bought a borla replica header for $250. Turns out the header was better quality then that crappy borla company made them and they didn't have collector crack issues. So now instead of buying them from that rip off borla company for $600 people save money and get a superior product. In the end it was $30. That is nothing to most people. I guess $30 is life or death to pohljm.

you must know the cost of the genuine disc.
you must know the difficulty in reproducing/copying this particular disc.
you know the website is questionable at best.
what did you expect.
who knows could be a reputable site servicing other makers and they underestimated copying this file
its nice refunds are available

And? What's your point? You keep talking in circles. None of which backs up your claim that people here are morons for trying to find a good alternative to spending $150 on Oem discs. I'm sure you have downloaded bootleg music at least once in your life. Does that make you a moron as well?

Today I finally received the disc after they apologized for the delay. They did respond to each inquiry, and communicated the delay was because they had some problems with some earlier discs.
I loaded the disc, the software install screen ran for about 5 minutes, and now the updated maps work perfectly. Don't know the disc's origin, looked normal and works just fine so far. I'll let you know if there are any problems in the future. Don't know if I'd recommend these guys to others, but it worked out fine for me--a 2013 Navi map update for $29.95.

for those who don't want to risk it Navteq just put all 2013 versions on sale through 3/31 for $99 plus tax but with free shipping. More than the burned copy, but I'll finally have a working version!
