Wiring lights with interior lights

I would like to install some separate led's under my seat to turn on when I unlock the cars so it turns on/off when the interior lights turn activate.

How would I go about wiring this?

Thanks in advance.

get the harness that hooked to the ignition switch

you are looking for the 6 pin connector

take pin 5 hook it to the negative side of the LED, and take pin 6 and hook it to the positive side of the LED

There was somebody that used an 03' accord foglight switch in the empty spot that our TLs have by the VSA switch. I can't find the post because if I remember correctly, it was off topic from another thread subject. I want to do the same thing, but the installers that I went to are having a hard time getting it done. They said they need the shematics for the switch and the wire harness that it uses. They also told me it was imposible to run the footwell lights from the dome lights. I told them that "yes" it can be done, but they wanted proof. I've been trying to find the post with the 03' Accord foglight switch for 2 days now. hopefully he sees this and gives us some help.

Where is the harness located?

the ignition switch(the thing you put your key in to start the car)

you need to take the plastic off the steering column to get to it

I'd say since they are low draw LEDs just tap into the interior lighting wiring. Look up the DIY page for lighted sills and follow the same method.
