what colors do i connect to my audiocontrol matrix? all the wiring diagrams on crutchfield are wrong. i am bypassing my stock amp.

please please help

i have 6 sets of twisted pairs coming from my stock head unit that don't even come close to matching with what everyone else says.

green & blue together
black & grey together
green/blue & yellow/blue together
yellow/black & pink/black together
red/blue & white/green together
green/yellow & blue/white together

(the slash means it is striped)

the last four pairs of wire don't match up with anything i have ever seen regarding wire diagrams and i'm getting very frustrated.

 

Where are you seeing those twisted pairs? Behind the head unit or at the amp behind the passenger kick panel (this is where you should be looking)?

At least three of those pairs you found are pre-amp signals, which is what you're looking for. The diagram you showed above are highlighting post-amp wires.

 

i FINALLY found what i was looking for the whole time at 2 am last night. there is a big difference in the wiring between the 07 tl-s and the 06 tl. most of the colors are different. and yes i was talking about line level inputs into the amp.
