i know is 2 inch longer but will it fit or would i have to go with a lesser capable battery like the 1800

I thought power cells were just very large capacitors and shouldn't be used as a car battery. Someone please correct me if i am wrong.

wrong, it can be use has both. If you have a big system in your car is always better to have has your main battery a power cell. (kinetik, optima yellow, XS , etc)

Take the batt out and measure the space you have there

I had an 1800 in my 05. It is a step up from an Optima but I like the XS3400 better.
