up I need a navi unit ASAP and if i can buy this one, i will!

 

I don't think it would work since the 04-06 MDX uses the 4.xx disk and the earlier ones used the 3.xx, but those had control of the A/c and other stuff through the navi. It's probably a different unit than the 3G one.

 

he tells me that the disk is version 3.30 so i guess it's the same than in a TL

can anyone confirm this??

 

I cross referenced part numbers between the MDX and TL and:

TL: 39540-SEP-406
mdx: 39540-S3V-406

they are pretty close, just the middle digits are different. I don't think the MDX one will work since it has an additonal plug for the rear view camera and as well it didn't have the HFL system that the TL has, along with XM radio.

 

I'd save the money and look for the right part.
