why isn't "Redial" a phone command?

It is a voice command with paired with my Motorola V600. What phone are you trying this with?

i thought it was a standard voice command. i use it with my treo 650.

It is a voice command. and it has to be a standard voice commands because all the voice commands are done through the car...not the phone. Maybe you have a bad accent....

do you just say "redial?" after pressing the hfl button?

Exactly. All you have to say is redial and it redials. Works here with 05 TL paired with Moto v600

I use it all the time (damn dropped calls) but I haven't tried seeing if it works across a reboot. In other words, will saying "redial" work if I haven't yet made a call since starting the car but want to call the last number I called prior to shutting the car off?

okay, it works.

i suck.

and yea, it doesnt work across a reboot. you actually have to make a call during that phone paring for it to work.

i'll just go play over here now :p

"calling options are: call, dial, redial..." When you say "help" she'll tell you all of the options.

Does anybody get an over abundant portion of "#8" when dialing from the phonebook? It seems to me, that is the default number when HFL does not understand my command.
