Why don't the audio files on my PC Card play?

I found this on ownerlink acura website -- what the heck are they talking about?

The card reader may not be able to read some memory cards, depending on the type of card or combination of PC card adaptor and memory card. Recommended memory cards are ATA flash, CompactFlash and SD. Your card may be damaged or inserted incorrectly.

I saw that, and i have a pcmcia card adapter with a compact flash card. Been meaning to try it and see. Maybe when I get home this will be the impetus to try it.

you can put mp3s on a CF card and put it into the PCMCIA slot on the navi unit and it'll play the mp3s?

pc card reader

Are you guys talking about Acura Canada with their new CSX which is an Acurized Honda Civic?

In which case it is the same in the US Honda Civic, it can come with a PC card slot in the dash not the in the Navi unit in the trunk.

I do not think that our TL's (at least not 04 and 05) will read anything you plug into the PC card slot in the Navi unit if there is no software updated for the Navi screen to work with it. I wish I was wrong but don't think so....

Bummer - I was hoping that you could use the PC Card slot on the nav DVD to do something.
