Where to put aftermarket amp....?

Ive had a system in my TL since i bought it. I have a 12" alpine type s in a ported box with a 500w alpine amp, it sounds great but when i was installing it i couldnt find anywhere to really mount the amp besides on the box. This is unaceptable to me bc it makes it look really sloppy. Anybody have any suggestions on where to mount the amp, i usually do the back of the rear seat but there was no backing to screw it into. Suggestions?

I haven't done it yet but I plan on putting my two amps in that space behind the drivers side rear tire. They will be standing up vertically. Not sure on the exacts yet but the plan is to have them mounted to a box or frame that will be carpeted. The top will be breathable to allow heat out and removable so I can get to the gain, xover etc adjustments.

I'm looking to install Sony amp 1000W and a sub-box into my trunk with (1400 W) woofer. will it work with a stock audio?
