I think it can be used to downlad vehicle information when using the MENU+CANCEL+MAP secret menu, but what good is it to me?

Also did anybody use the secret menu for anything usefull? Other than changing it to CDN or US Navi version and having the male voice with US.

What's up with the Microphone level adjustment?

it's more of like firmware upgrades. say if there's a major bug found and it's not software related or if they wanted to add a new feature

it's possible. i've read somewhere on the net that someone hacked the old TL navi, from the 1st gen. he increased the memory so that he can use a newer version of the system can run on it. i can't seem to find the link anymore. he had pictures and a DIY guide, but it was done on the first gen. it may be different with the 3rd gen.

 

I wish to see my screen has better interface soon with the possible update by software/firmware and DVD database.
