What Line Out Convertor Should I get?

Hello everyone,

Between now and January I plan to add an amp to the component set I had installed in my doors. Compared to factory, they are already slightly louder and sound somewhat better. Obv I'm looking for some more power and sound quality going with an aftermarket amp. With my budget in mind, I plan to have $100 or so left over after labor and materials, not including the price of a LOC.

Here are my two options for spending this $100 or so:
1. Invest all of it into an AudioControl LC7i. Goes for like $115 on Amazon. Reviews and description say it gives a nice clean signal and restores bass that would otherwise be lost from cheaper LOCs. Definitely want to maximize SQ and bass especially when I'm upgrading my amp don't want my 12 in the trunk to be overpowered...

2. Go with a cheap(er) LOC. If the gains in sound quality and sub bass aren't worth the extra cost for the LC7i then this option? I will spend the extra cash on sound deadening. I have contained the rattles pretty well so far but if deadener will make it all sound a good bit better then why not.

What do you guys think is most cost effective? I'm new to car audio so any bit of information, including opinions will help!
