Has this happened to anyone?

While talking on the phone through the TL via Bluetooth the voice on the other end sounds like a CD skipping for about a second, then the phone icon on the dashboard goes away.

The call is still on the cell phone, I just need to hit a command on the phone to bring it back to the headset.

Is this my phone or my car?

 

btw. My phone is a Siemens S56.

 

Does this happen on every call? If your phone is still under warranty, I'd have it exchanged. If you don't want to get a refurbished unit then maybe you should go into a retail location for your wireless provider and see if they won't let you try a different phone just to make sure it is the phone with the problem.

 

Sounds like its your service. Does it happen in the same places every time?

 

I don't think that it is my service as it happens at random times, not always in the same location. Also the call is still available on my phone, just not through the bluetooth on the TL.

The reason I think that it is the car, is that once I get the CD-like skipping sound, the stearing wheel control to end the call no longer work. the only thing I can do to get everything working again is to press the button on my cell phone to disable bluetooth.
