I have an Non-Navi '07TL and this is the message that is presented to me when I get in. Welcome Driver 2 if it is my wife. Is there any way to customize the message and instead of 1, or 2, give the name?

I think csmeance is saying "no, for all practical purposes."

The '04-'06 do not permit customization of the driver ID in the MID, and I can't believe that the '07-'08 would do so. Best to check your manual under the MID/instrument panel section to confirm that, though.

I did not mean to imply that. A member, PENTA, transferred his MDX to the ukraine, and they got his MID to read in KMs via a simple reprogram.

 

With the money I paid for this car, it's absolutely ridiculous that the dash doesn't say Welcome Dick Weed or Welcome Mrs. Dick Weed when we jump in! But, I do find it strange that I can drive around for 15 minutes while the Outdoor Temperature reading is 10 or 15 degrees lower than the actual temperature, and according to the manual everything is working fine. You just have to drive longer and keep your speed over 19 MPH and eventually it will read correctly.

 

I have to think it would have been simple to do that, but hey, what do I know?
