Wanna save 50% on XM Radio subscription fee for one year?

Sorry. I didn't mean to steal Osward Vater's thread. I am borrowing his finding so that more people can save some money. I just called XM Radio-signed up for one year for $60 for one year. The promo ends in 5 days.

I know. I know. But this thread was in a sub-forum-I almost missed it. I called XM about this and got a discount in 2 min.

I've had a monthly subscription for 7 months now. It doesn't matter whether you have a regular sub. or not. You can still take advantage of the 50% discount offer!

Awesome post. We just picked up our Infiniti FX tonight and we switched the XM service on my TL to the half price one. So we're paying 120 for two instead of 240. Thanks!

Crap, I am supposed to get my car sometime soon, and I will be out of the country for 4 days... wonder if I can call them and get the service "ready" so I can take advantage of it.

HELP. I just called AGAIN and this person was more clueless than the first. They first went on their website looking for it (I said shouldn't you guys know what the promotions are without looking on the web?) and then she said it had expired months ago after leaving me on hold for a long time.

Any other suggestions?

Just call again and get a different customer service person. It seems that XM service people are not that good.

Yep, they sure did. I guess too many people took advantage of it already. Seems shady though because the site said the offer expires on the 31st. Today is only the 27th. Very suspicious inded.

Just so you know the deal is still good. Call the number and say you got it in the mail. I just did and had no problems.

This is a great tip, thanks. But it IS awfully shady that options 3 and 4 disappeared before their expiration date. Makes you wonder what kind of yahoos are running this company and what kind of cash flow problems they have.

I just called and got the deal eventhough it's not shown on the ad. Make sure you mention that discount or they'll try to sell you some other plan.

Good luck.

I actually printed out the ad with 3-4. If need be PM me with your e-mail and I will scan it and send it to you. That way you can talk inteligently on the phone and know word for word what the promotion is.

It's that time of the month, you understand.

Besides, I was kidding about the thief. I just have fun on the forum, I have no quarrels with anyone. Just one big happy TL family.

I just got in on the deal, even after they removed it from their site. What a deal. After my first free 3 months I did a renewal for the next 3 months for about $29.85. That plan was to run until Nov 11th so they renewed my subscription for a year and credited me what was remaining of the $29.95 toward the $60 year price. I only had to pay $35 to keep the service until next August, wooohooooo.

Thanks to everyone for catching this deal.

Could be a sudden surge in renewals from Forum folk, no?
(Hey, I got mine !)
BTW, it is a year in advance, and is plus taxes.

Many thanks

Thanks for the post. I just extended my service for the year. They were kind of shaddy about how I knew about the discount, but really had no ground to stand on. I told them I had been surfing and saw the promotion earlier, had printed the page off for reference, and decided to go with it.

I had just renewed my subscription for 3 months and was credited that towards the one year subscrip. In the end, I am only paying an additional $38.06. Again, much thanks to whomever found this promotion. Just saved me $60.
