Valentine 1 Hardwire
Just finished doing the install. Took me about an hour and a half, but at least 30 minutes of that was me fumbling trying to reinstall the kick panel. I might still need to move the detector down slightly (below the tint strip) but from some of the things I've read - the effects of the tint strip are so minor that having it hidden is worth it.
Main Unit on the right, remote display on the left below the vent

Close up of the remote display. Could have hid this further back near the window, but I wanted to be able to easily mute the unit. The AC vent pops out real easy so I routed the cable up the duct. It covers the vent shut off, but given that the driver controls the HVAC I don't know why I'd ever need to shut that vent, so it's not a big loss for me.

Nearly invisible from the outside unless you're at an angle that gives you a lot of backlight (low down and from the side). We'll see how it performs and if I need to move it down at all.

The suction cup mount can be moved pretty easily - since I usually don't have any passengers on long road trips I'd rather keep the detector concealed, but I could put it further down by the mirror if I wanted to
