V710 Will Not Work With My TL! Help

I just bought the phone yesterday and i tried to sync it with my car and it doesn;t work... what am i doing wrong? I say pair and it says no deivce found or something like that. I am gettin aggrivated right now. Can some one please help me. Would appreciate it. thanx

Have you turned on the phone's BT?

I have the same phone with my 05. You have to turn on the BT link. It is off by default. Turn it on and "allow" for discovery, if I'm not mistaken these are on different section in the network section.
