Did he give any more details than that, like manufacturer, model number? I can't find anything on phonescoop.com about such a phone. I'd wait a couple months to get a bluetooth phone without a camera for verizon.

 

I just ordered my V710 from the Wall Street, NYC Verizon store. I should receive the phone by Friday. The person I spoke to told me that the store opened at 7AM, sold their first V710 at 7:02, and sold their initial stock of twenty before 9:30AM. The other stores in the area were sold out by the time I called in the 10AM area.

According to the sales person, the accessories from my T720 should work with the new phone, which means that I won't need a new car cord or data cable. Yay! I should be able to transfer my contacts from M$ Outlook to the new phone just as I had transferred them to the T720.

ok-- first of all, im NOT a techie like a lot of you guys, so i need some help with the basics on this. I got my V710 today. so far, so good. I did reup for two years, they initially were trying some crap with "you only got your phone 11 months ago, so it's full retail to get one today, even if you extend your contract" AAACK AND I waited 35 mins for ANYONE to help, but that's another story. ANYWAY-- paired the phone. worked, no problem. Parked. came back. NOT paired anymore. Curious.. called the 800 number.. TALK ABOUT ARROGANCE.. "Sir, we dont recognize that phone , and offer no support for it here.. call us back when its on the 'approved list"" WAIT! I say-- its NOT that--- OR the phone-- im sure im DOING something wrong that it loses its 'pairing"... NO help. Nothing. turns out i didnt turn bluetooth on "permanently' on the phone itself.. but what would it have taken to GET THAT ANSWER or to troubleshoot with them? Man i was annoyed.. other than that. this is FUN talkin to yer car.. LOL
