I almost always have the audio system on. When I adjust the volume on the HFL the upper portion of the Navi indicates that the volume is increasing. Last night I adjusted the volume when the audio system was off and nothing displayed on the Navi screen. However, the volume increase was displayed on the display above the Navi screen.

My wife has the car today so I can't RTFM. I assume this behaviour is normal but can someone confirm that.
