Used Dom's PnP / 2016 backup wiring thread

Since 2 of the 3 Backup Camera threads in the TL 3G FAQs no longer have pics, here is my attempt to help wiring noobs like myself get a backup camera and/or external player wired. I have a pic of my used unit with labels of what I THINK these are... as well as a few mysteries... feel free to fill in the blanks.

1. Plugs for dvd nav unit in trunk
2.Plug coming from stereo to dvd nav
3. ???
4. ???
5.??? power switch... (but then do i twist the camera's red wire to the reverse lights power cable as well, or am I confusing the purpose of this switch and the nav2go has to be permanently powered?)
6.??? (this bundle has a green wire linked to the power wires for some reason)

1 & 2 is the Y cable that goes into the DVD player. You unplug the connector, plug in the ones from doms harness and plug the old connector into the female plug on dom's harness.

Totally got 2 those wires figured out, but it's the other ones that remain a mystery to me...I might take the car into a shop that is good with electronics to figure this out.
Btw the dom module says model No: CAR-3A EE0064. then the serial number. Is this the plug and play version?

shouldn't there be one a wire with a button on it too? 5 red you have to get power by dragging a line to the front fuse (at least I did), 5 black goes to round. I think within the jumble of 6 should be some more grounding wires and a wire attached to a button. If you do have that wire, you'll have to actually cut that wire to extend to the front (that bulk wire is actually two thin wires inside). I THINK 4 red would be tapped into the reverse light to switch to the camera, and 4 black goes to another ground. Keep in mind this was done over a year ago so I'm not exactly certain how it all is supposed to go, so I'm not liable for any mistakes.

That all makes sense, but what would the button be for anyways? I don't necessarily need a switch for my camera, I only need it switched when the reverse lights are on.

the button is to switch from navi map to dom's unit. as far as i know, you need to switch it to dom's unit manually and then if you switch into reverse the camera will show up. either that or i wired something wrong...

I still haven't figured out how to wire this, unfortunately :/. Why the heck would I need a switch to manually go between nav? The purpose of using doms unit is to automatically switch when in reverse gear.....
