Unlocking Pin

Hey guys, i bought a used 3g TL and the manual didn't come with the car. I want to use my bluetooth for my phone on my car but I need a PIN THAT I DON'T KNOW! Is there a way I can reset this or something, please respond back asap, I'm tired of hiding my phone from the cops on the highway lol.

Are you talking about the PIN that's used for BlueTooth? If so, you make up the pin. If you created a pin like 1646, then your phone should enter the same thing to be paired.

The 3G TL's manuals from through a link in the 3G Garage: https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...01_OMANUAL.asp

The PIN for the HFL is often 0123, 1234 or what is suggested in the manuals.

Bluetooth is a great thing. You can try disconnecting you battery for ~15 minutes.

If you disconnect the battery, remember to have the navi and radio codes, if you have navi. Else, you're more SOL

DISCLAIMER: PAIRING/SYNCING A PHONE WHILE DRIVING IS DANGEROUS AND MAY IMPAIR YOUR DRIVING.
PLEASE USE DISCRETION AND SYNC/PAIR OR ACCESS THE HFL MENUS ONLY WHEN THE VEHICLE IS FULLY STOPPED AND OUT OF TRAFFIC.

Push the talk button.
Say "CLEAR".
The system should prompt to clear all records in the system.
Push the talk button.
Say "Yes".
Wait a moment for the system to delete all previous entries.

Now begin pairing process.
This can be done by accessing the sub-menus then by saying "Pair" or "Pair A Phone".
It will prompt for a pin/password used to pair.
Push the talk button.
Say any 4digit number/code such as "ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO" or "ZERO ONE TWO THREE FOUR".
The system will then search for all near-by phones.
Go into your phone's bluetooth menu. Within the bluetooth menu put it into "search mode" and look for "HANDS FREE LINK tm". Add this device to your phone.
Now input the 4digit number/code in the phone.
Pairing of the phone should be complete.

At some point in time, you will be prompted to give a name for your mobile device.
Once you have paired your phone, you may want to begin to create your phonebook so you do not have to say the phone number to the HFL or dial the person on your phone.

Now whenever your bluetooth is turned on, on your phone, it will automatically sync/pair with the HFL of the TL when you go in/out of the vehicle's connecting range.

I hope that helps.
I may have left out some small steps.

Also keep in mind that sometimes when talking on the phone while the bluetooth is on before turning on and entering the car--the HFL may not connect/sync properly to your mobile device.
You are able to also talk on the HFL after the vehicle has been shut off--as long as the ignition is on the setting that runs the battery.

I think that is the clear option---unless the system reset is another option.

The clear option deletes/wipes out all previous paired mobile bluetooth devices and phonebook entries.

For most mobile phones the default pin is 0000. Good luck.
