tweeter blown?

tweeter blown?

hey guys while driving today my tweeters just went silent, i wasnt blasting music they just went dead but the mid rang still work could it be the cross over or wiring

As you saw in the other thread, mine of the same brand did the same thing.

To get this straight, both tweeters went dead at the same time?

Are you running them off the stock amp or aftermarket?

I'm assuming you've checked connections already.

i havent checked connection already but they both went dead at the same time complelty no sound but the mid ranges still work fine im bringing to were they were installed 2m ....they mounted the amp in a different location friday but i wouldnt understand why it would take 3 days for the wires to loosen...i hope they didnt blow

FWIW, mine are nearly back to full volume this morining. I'm going to the ID forums to see if this is a known problem.

What's the status on yours?
