I guess you missed my post in the other thread:
I don't think you've really read the threads either.
Check out the 3G TL Audio & Electronics FAQ for instructions on accessing the plug behind the headunit.

Once you get your non-nav to nav conversion complete, you will need to look at getting a video interface to interact with your new navi screen (provide the video RCA connections you need). Fortunately, Dom's TVandNav2Go is also compatible for your car. If you don't know what that is, please perform a search.
Other than video, you will also need an audio interface to interact with the factory sound system. There are a couple available for the 3G (PIE, USA Spec, Blitzsafe), but I am not sure what works with the 2G. This audio interface needs to provide the audio RCA connects.
The combination of a video interface and an audio interface will provide the RCA connection you need to use the AVOX or any media player (DVD, iPod video, carPC).
Now, if you replace the factory head unit with an aftermarket one with RCA connections, problem is solved and you don't need to worry about these interfaces.
Hope that helps.

, you do not have to remove the navi screen. Its a tight squeeze, but you can get to the back of the head unit by removing the driver's side kick panel. Some details here: DIY: Backup Camera with Dom's TVandNav2Go PNP Install.

Has anyone found a legitimate (where I will not have to stuff copper wire and where the MG-25P won't shut-off on bounces) power source for the MG-25P while in the car?

There are several types of these hard drive media players out on the web. It just depends on what you are looking for.
As for the AVOX, it is just a rebrand of the AL Tech mediagate which is available through stores such as eWaggle.com

RCA Inputs-GPS
I have been looking to replace the GPS unit in my 07-TL S due to it's inaccuracy and a list of functional issues that are fairly long (see this site for issues encountered by several members). Garmin makes a full function GPS unit as an after market install that is able to utilize the current TL screen as long as it has RCA inputs. From your post I gather you were able to use the current TL Navi screen inputs and that they are standard RCA jacks (Left Channel Audio, Right Channel Audio and Video). If I missed that aspect in your post, sorry. Could you let me know if you used the standard TL Navi screen input (regular RCA jacks or if you had to buy an adapter cable. Depending on how you connected to the display screen, I am going to see if I can disable the current 07-TL S GPS and install the Garmin GVN 52. Members can search Garmin for info on this unit. Thanks for your time, as a new member, I appreciate it.

You will have to buy an adapter to tap into the navigation screen. Please see the 3G TL Audio & Electronics FAQ and look for "TVandNav2Go."
This module is just a video interface. If you would like to integrate audio, you'll need to look at an aftermarket interface (DICE/USA Spec/PIE/Blitzsafe) or use the built-in aux-in from the '07. Details can also be found in the FAQ.
Good luck and please post pics of your install when you have it completed.

Ebay $60 + $12 shipping (pie X3 audio interface)
I didn't get the back up cam yet but you can also find that on ebay as well.... they are about $120 + shipping.

Power Tap
So I'm kind of a newbie to electrical wiring
I'm about to install a PIE X3 and Dom's unit
I'll tap power with a mini add a circuit in fuse 32
Just to be sure:
Can that set-up handle both the pie x3 and the tvandnav2go just fine?
I took classes on this stuff in highschool a few months ago but it's a lot different in real world application
Thanks,
Mitch

@soccerman7410, if you want the ability to add a backup camera, then I would install Dom's unit in the trunk. Both devices require very little power so I would say that yes, you can connect them to the same mini add-a-circuit at fuse 32.

Hey where Can i Buy that media Player HD you have, that Avox Jukebox. I look at all the links you have on https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/my-secret-media-player-revealed-mediagate-mg-25p-598448/ but no one has it.

So what size fuse (i don't know if "size" is the correct way to qualify fuses) should i put in that add-a-fuse?
Been reading all your input on this process across Acurazine and it's extremely helpful dude.
I wanna make a sicknasty post about my install pretty soon and I want to make sure I know as much as possible about the process before that. So far I've spent under 150 bucks on my PIE x3, Dom's unit, and all the components! Fck yeah!

right, I was planning to put Dom's unit in the trunk and just run power from fusebox.

@ExclusiveTL: The iSimple and PIE X3 are audio interfaces; independent of the video interface. With the iSimple, I am able to control my iPod (for audio) through the factory head unit and steering wheel controls. If I want to have it display video from the iPod, then it would need to connected with RCA plugs where video is through Nav2Go and audio is through iSimple. In this auxiliary mode, you lose the controls and track text display.
