I have a 07 Type-S. What im looking for is the connecter that goes to the fog light bulb. The harness is built into the engines wiring harness and getting a new one of those is just too much for such a little thing. When I was installing HID fogs it messed up the connecter and i need to replace it.




I found this and I was wondering if i could just cut it and splice it in to fix that problem.

Any opinions?

 

You can splice it in, it will work
Just tape up the old connector you're not using, because it will still be getting power and be dangerous if it gets wet.

Or you can cut off the broken connector and connect the exposed wires directly to the new connector.
